how do i find out if my parents have left me anything in their will?

my dad passed away 8yrs ago and he left everything to my mum but i was just wondering if he left anything to me and how do i find out . where can get info to find out if i have assets owing to me. just want to know as my mum wont tell me if i have inheritade anything . thanx
